Scene 1 EXT/INT. FRONT DOOR/LIVINGROOM DAY/NIGHT (MONTAGE)    1. BRETTY at front door number one
HOST opens front door. BRETTY greeting in cheesy British accent.
BRETTY
Wotcha mate! I’m Bretty the couch surfer, nice to meet you! BEAR is just standing and watching him.
2. BRETTY goes to sleep on couch one
3. HOST opens front door. BRETTY greeting in cheesy  British accent.
BRETTY
Wotcha! I’m Bretty the couch surfer!Far behind BRETTY again is the same man in a bear suit reading a newspaper; he slowly puts down his newspaper to stalk at BRETTY
4. BRETTY goes to sleep on couch two
5. HOST opens front door. BRETTY greeting in cheesy British accent.
BRETTY
How do you do? I’m Bretty the couch surfer!
4. BRETTY goes to sleep on couch three

Scene 2 INT. LIVINGROOM. DAY.                              
BRETTY wakes up and jumps out of shock
BRETTY (Australian accent)
What the fuck!!
BRETTY (British accent)
uh I mean… dear me you gave me a fright
A man in a bear suit (BEAR) is beside him. Bretty and
BEAR exchange awkward stare at each other for a
moment
BRETTY
I’m Bretty, the couch surfer.
BRETTY brings out his hand for a hand shake .BEAR stays where he is, staring at BRETTY.
BRETTY
yea, life of a backpacker. I’ve been traveling around  ,Melbourne, a very nice place, lots good people
BRETTY (awkwardly laughing)
yea.. hey uhh.. nice bearsuit mate, where did you get it from?
BEAR stands up, stares at BRETTY then walks to the kitchen to prepare his customer breakfast. As BEAR leaves, BRETTY makes a ‘WTF’ face, and awkwardly moves to the kitchen.
Leaning at the kitchen door while looking at BEAR  preparing coffee, BRETTY walks towards the bear
BRETTY
ah~ you’re making coffee, you know in England we serve tea not coffee…http://www.ukthesis.org/dissertation_sample/  yes people there are obsessed with tea ahaha, back home me and my family would have tea parties like every Friday hahhaa..
BEAR turns to BRETTY, stares at him says nothing, and gets back preparing coffee.
BRETTY
Speaking of family, I really miss mine because I’ve been away for quite some time… usually my brother would come to travel with me. But just not this time..
do you have a brother?
BEAR again turns to BRETTY, stares at him say nothing, and gets back preparing coffee. BRETTY tries to look busy, looks around, taps his feet and touch the table. Then he starts again#p#分页标题#e#

I haven’t got a chance to say thank you for letting me sleep at your couch Bear. it's a very comfy couch… living as a backpacker I have slept in quite a few different couches; but this is the best one I’ve ever slept in hahahaha…
BRETTY makes a ‘WTF did I just say’ face to himself when
he realise how ridiculous he sounds.
BRETTY
so, have you ever do couch surfing before?
BEAR Turns and stares at BRETTY again, but this time he moves and silently walk closer to BRETTY; BRETTY doesn't know how to react and moves backward; BEAR move closer,BRETTY moves backwards; BEAR moves even closer, BRETTYmoves backward. Just when BRETTY thought the bear is going to hurt him. The BEAR hands BRETTY a cup of coffee. BRETTY looks at coffee,takes a breath, grabs the cup of coffee and took a sip,
BRETTY
thank you

Scene 3 EXT. BACKYARD. DAY                                 
BEAR is doing Taichi. He is highly concentrating on his movement, and really is in ‘the zone’, when suddenly
BRETTY
oh I know what you’re doing there...
BEAR pauses; frightened a little that BRETTY turns out to
be just beside him.
BRETTY (snaping his fingers)
There’s a word for this, umm…
BEAR ignores BRETTY and continues his stretches
BRETTY
kachi? No, umm lychee. No, that’s not right…
BRETTY pauses to think while the bear continues his movement.
BRETTY (claps)
Got it, Taichi!
BEAR still ignores.
BRETTY
Do you do taichi every morning Bear? Does it help to give you energy for the day? BEAR just continues his taichi, BRETTY watches.
BRETTY
Did you just come up with those movements? Or is there a step? I think there’s a (step).. Whoaa, watch it While Bretty was talking he didn't notice the bear’s next step is to lift his right leg up, close to where Bretty stands.BEAR pauses with his right leg lifted and his arms both up in the sky. BRETTY bursts out laughing at BEAR’s posture.
BRETTY
hahaha! You look like a crane, well you look like a bear, pretending to be a crane While laughing BRETTY tries to imitate bear’s action, by lifting his right leg and arms, but lose balance and fell  instead.
