As the health care and medical services are developing quickly, the people in
Canada have the better opportunities to get good health services. However, There are many challenges in the Canadian health care service system, such as long “wait times”,rural medical care problem, primary health care struggle and so on. Wait times, depending on in which province you live and how serious a problem you have, are different due to the fact that every territory and province administers its own system. The wait times problem is part of a larger picture of the state of health care in Canada.
→→ Here you could enumerate what a few of the problems are, and state that of these, wait times is the most serious.
The trouble with government health care has spawned private clinics and this makes for a two-tiered health care system. There is one for the rich who can afford to pay, and another for the poor who cannot pay extra to have surgical procedures, for example, done immediately. For instance, if a person cannot pay for this out of his or her own pocket, then he or she might have had to wait a long time. This would entail.... A long time waiting for health services is the main concern for people who need the care right away. If patient had had to wait 10 months for surgery, his or her health may have deteriorated because being anxious, in pain, and on drugs for analgesia. There is no quality of life, living like this. Moreover, patient needed holistic nursing care - physical, psychological, social, and spiritual. For many, these services would simply not be available. Especially, if the patient is a weekend-warrior who had trouble with the wrist, they are likely to wait for rather long time, or even with a 3am MRI. Life-threatening diseases are to be handled much quicker like a stroke, heart attack or cancer operation. Sometimes the matter is not about lackness of equipment but a long critical or emerge procedures. Elaborate- why not?#p#分页标题#e#
The health care premiums must rise, and the administration for health care must cut its budget so that there is more money to pay surgeons, nurses, and aids to care for the patients. As a result, patients could get more and better services from the nursing practitioners, far and rural patients could be well taken care of, the hygienic conditions could be improved and the medical equipment could be more available for most of people. Perhaps say that cost cutting by privatising services is simply not a good idea and give some examples ( food in hospital is worse than ever.) Decreasing the administration budget would be of great help to improving the quality of health care and shorten the time patients have necessarily to wait before they are treated. The Canadian government has invested money in order to make sure all of Canada has access to high quality health services. Moreover, nurse practitioners have been helping Canadian people get more access to higher quality health care where doctors are in scarce supply, and more nurse practitioners are needed in many areas, including the larger metropolitan areas to cut down the wait time to get proper health care in Canada.
