要求：you will observe two classes in language center. These classes prepare international students with less than the required English language level, pre-entry to the University, for academic courses.
 
Your essay will discuss:
• The literature related to the theme you have chosen
• Your choice of observation schedule (including rationale, e.g. the kind of data you expect to collect; your chosen schedule, piloting – what you did, what changes you made as a result etc)
• The findings of your observation, including examples from the data you have collected, and how they relate to the theme
•  Evaluation of the process of observation you undertook, including discussion of the limitations of the data and observation schedule.

NB The following should be presented in Appendices, referred to in the text:
• All data (eg completed observation schedule and/or a tabular summary)
• documentation (eg the observation schedule),
• background information to the class (aims of lesson, stage of course, learners, materials used etc). 
Appendices must be numbered and have clear titles. Any sources must be referenced as normal. They do not count in the word limit.
