2.1 Organization Introduction
Beauty Cosmetics Company is a leading cosmetics retailing group in Asia. Its over 100 retail stores and counters in Asia sell more than 200 brands of skincare, fragrance, make-up and body care products including own-brands and other exclusive international brands. The BCC employs over 1,000 staff in four markets across the region, covering Hong Kong, Taiwan, Mainland China, Japan and Korea.

Sales Organization:
There are total four sales organizations in the company, Taiwan, Japan, Korea and Hong Kong. Each sales organization is one sales office except for Hong Kong. In Hong Kong, each sales representative office location is considered as one sales office in SAP. Each sales person is considered as one sales group in SAP.
This process covered two departments which are Sales and Warehouse.
This process describes
Sales place order in SAP system when customer submit order request to sales by email, web and fax. System will check ATP on SO. If we have enough stock to meet customer required delivery date, sales will print SO and do order confirmation with customer. If we have no enough stock, the order will come to back order process, other departments will arrange production within BCC plant or purchase from outsource vendor and submit our confirmed ETD date to sales team. Warehouse will follow the picking process to create delivery note.

A sales org. is responsible for the sale and distribution of goods. Each sale Order belongs to one Sales Organization. Sales Organization is assigned to a Company Code where Sales Revenue is Recognized (Links SD & FI). A Sales Order belongs to one Distribution Channel (Header Level Assignment)

2.3.4 Distribution Channel
The Distribution Channel is used for identifying the way which we pass the goods or service to customers. A distribution channel can be assigned to one or more sales organizations. In BCC’s SAP system, we define distribution channels as BCC’s marketing segments.

2.3.5 Division
The Division is used to group materials, products, or services.
Division drives: Pricing, Customer and Material Master Data Maintenance, Sales Transactions (Orders, Inquiries, Quotes, Contracts, etc.), Customer Invoicing, Taxes, Freight Terms
Sales Revenue and Profitability Reporting
Common division minimizes the effort of entering and managing master data (price and customer master data)

2.3.6 Sales Office
An organizational unit in a geographical area of a sales organization

2.3.7 Sales Group
Each sales employee can be assigned to a sales group. One sales office can have several sales groups and each sales group can be assigned to several sales offices.

2.3.8 Shipping Point
Shipping point is responsible for scheduling and processing deliveries to customers.
