国际贸易留学生申请信:application letter
The first object that attracts its eyes and hands is supposed to be a symbol of the baby’s future career. At that time my father was a director in a factory. His responsibility was to purchase materials for production and organize supply chain of means of production. He loved his job and expected me to inherit his career, so he put a beautiful iron chain among those objects in my one-year anniversary fortune-telling. In his words, his supply chain work was described to be like a iron chain: ever step in his job looks like one ring linked with another.
Undoubtedly, I was attracted by his bright iron chain and his strategy was successful. During my growing up process, he taught me a lot of knowledge about his job. When I was twelve years old, he quited his job and turned toward to international trade business. He and his friends established a company dealing with electronic product trades. I got a part-time job in his company when I was fifteen. My job was to assist logistic personnels in organizing vehicle transport for electronic products. I listed all possible schemes in my notebook and compared them many times from various points of views. I wrote down all my thoughts and presented them to logistic personnels. They helped me analyze every scheme and proposed advice for improving my thoughts. I worked there for three years until I went to university. Considering my interest in supply chain management and business background of my family, I selected International economy and trade as my specialty. In my four years’ college life, I read a lot of books on international trades and supply chain management for big company. When I was in grade three, I got a part-time job and worked for McDonald's restaurant as an assistant shift manager. I had the opportunity to contact Hungary's most successful business and observe how a world famous business was built and co-ordinated to achieve its ambitious goals. I was shocked by this famous chain store’s logistics and supply chain management system. Its highly effective operation mode and strict supply management drove this company to grow up as one of the most greatest muti-national corporations. To further study the business logistics, I read many books by T.
Harv Eker, Bodo Schafer and John C. Maxwell as well as others that have contained useful and interesting information in connection with operating and co-ordinating a business. From these books I saw my life future and steeled my resolve to study business/logistics and/or supply chain management.
When I graduated from my college in 2007, I entered a logistics company located in Guangzhou and worked as a director in its transport sector. I was responsible for complete equipment export transportation work. My specific responsibilities included communication with the Customs Department and the Commodity Inspection Authorities for customs declaration and inspection. Besides, I had business experience on file manipulation, wharf mention ark and yard goods loading supervision. I enjoyed my work and paid great attention to it. With the valuable working experience, I summarized my theoretical knowledge and tried to incorporate it into practice. I worked there for only one year and left Guangzhou to go back to my hometown for some reasons. Then I emigrated to the United States of America in 2008. Although in recently two years, I have been engaged in kindergarten education, I am
http://www.ukthesis.org/liuxuewenshuzhidao/ still eager to work on supply chain management. During the past several years, I have insisted on reading books about company management, especially supply chain management. Discussions on international trades and trade transports have been an necessary and important topic in my daily life. This is not only due to its close connection to my life, but also due to my strong interest in it. Even though I am working as a teacher now, the most talked about topic is still related to trades and transports. In recently years, I have traveled to European countries in my vacations and I visited my business parters living there. During our chats I was excited and felt my love in this trade. Like me, my past parters loved their international trade business and their professional dedication impressed me deeply. In my past life of immigrants, almost everything was related to international trades and transports. I believe it’s the time now to make the decision in continuing my study life in this field. I hope through my hard work, I will employ myself in trade and transport like my friends.
