金融专业留学生硕士申请信范文下载-Finance Personal Statement

   

My motivation to study Finance for a Master’s degree developed right after I found my job as assistant accountant at Tri-State Reprographics. It was at that time – tough time in job hunting, market research of economy and human resource in Pittsburgh region, participation of NAACP in Pittsburgh and business work in WFC such as investment process, voice of customer as well as communication with key accounts under tutorship by Investment Department VP of WFC, job at Tri-State Reprographics, that I realized more attention should be paid to further pursuit of financial knowledge and the combination of both theory and practice. Since then I started learning Financial Modeling, reading the Wall Street Journal every day, keeping aware of the financial market and the most of all, preparing for future study in finance.

 

My interest in financial study may derive from childhood days. Born and raised in a family of which my father operated a company and my mother worked as CFO, my awareness of financial affairs was much greater than most of my childhood friends and players. One the one hand, my father—the company operator was taking control of administration and manage the business work for example, cost and profit, production efficiency, employee benefit and after-sales service. And my mother as CFO was good at accounting, financial planning, capital investment as well as sales prospect etc. One the other hand, both my father and mother are hardworking, right thinking people, and their sensitivity and judgment of the financial market have influenced me a lot. I began to realize that finance in fact existed everywhere in our ordinary lives, and it has been influencing largely on my daily life and I was more sensitive to financial changes such as accounting, inflation, stock and exchange rate etc. since then. So it is my consideration that my family background has provided financial atmosphere and stimulated my awareness and attention towards finance.

 

The reason I choose this university for my pursuit of Master’s degree in Finance is that I hear a lot about its brand new teaching concept, abundant learning resource, sophisticated scientific team as well as outstanding academic achievements, and deeply believe that I could fit in here. I am really interested in research work of financial venture. If I am qualified and lucky enough to start my postgraduate study here, I intend to read books related with psychology, anthropology, philosophy as well as finance. I believe I will be fully committed to successfully completing Finance study and more importantly, detailed investigation would be carried out to make full preparation for my financial research work. Studying these subjects will allow me to explore, in depth, a range of simulating topics which I feel will give me a broader understanding towards the theories and practices of financial behaviors. I consider the following three years the most precious time concentrating on financial research of my real interest, seeking the best chance to study finance and put it into practice.

 

Known as an outstanding team leader of community activities in university, I was able to make quick decision with overall view, organize big meetings, carry out the propaganda, enhance morale, and my communication skills have been improved a lot in the past years. I consider that planning ahead, concentrating on one’s work and never ignoring communication are really helpful for me. Start with a plan, I can avoid blindness. Concentrate on my work, I can be fully energetic and exciting. Keep communicating, maybe less mistake and more fantastic ideas. I do like sports, and both outdoor running and indoor yoga are my favorite. Sometimes I prefer extreme sports like skateboarding to challenge my extreme. I believe good and healthy body is a must for my future pursuit and study of finance.
