This title indicates that a feasibility study will be performed to see whether MFI’s are willing to help finance the Fortune Cooker so that people at the BoP(国际收支平衡表), so low-income households and unemployed females in Ethiopia, can make use of this product. Before laying down the background of this thesis proposal we must become fully aware of the meaning of the terms used in title of the thesis proposal in order to understand fully its content.
A Feasibility Study(可行性研究)is a study undertaken to analyse various issues and elements of the project in order to reach optimum decisions about the viability and direction of the business venture. Core elements of a feasibility study includes; market analysis, technical analysis and a financial analysis(市场分析,技术分析和财务分析). Furthermore a feasibility study is undertaken to indentify the opportunities and threats in the internal and external environment of the new business venture and researches the potential resources needed to set up the business and ultimately looks at the prospects of success.#p#分页标题#e#

During the IBMS study I have learned to interact, discuss, negotiate, work with and communicate with students from different nationalities and cultures. This multicultural melting pot that IBMS represents, was one of the reasons for choosing the study. I must now in order to do the research correctly learn to adapt and put myself in the place of low-income households and really understand their needs. Also I have a Dutch, Indian and Surinam background and learned how to see the best of both worlds. I really am interested in cultures and social behaviours. | |||||

During the many projects we had to conduct as a project group with classmates I have had several roles within the group. Although I like being a part of the team and really producing documents, I learned that leadership really suited me. I have been a leader several times and have been given high marks for it. I believe a leader should be a part of a team and motivate it constantly. Also everyone’s opinion should be equally valued and respected. For this project I will be working on my own thesis so no group work is needed. | |||||

I have learned to improve my vocabulary as well as speech and writing during the BCN classes. Also my study abroad period in Dublin really helped giving me an extra confidence boost. The company is a Dutch company but documents everything in English. For me a challenge is the constant switch from English to Dutch because I tend to forget the Dutch vocabulary and therefore get insecure about my Dutch because I am after all born and raised in The Netherlands. | |||||

Unfortunately the classes consultancy and thesis research I could not participate in last year because I was in Dublin for my minor. Therefore I will need to consult the supervisor. | |||||

Learning and self developing is what I set out to do when enrolling myself in RBS. During the years I have tried to learn from the feedback given to me and I really appreciated it because without feedback there is no room for self development. For this research project it is good for me to find out if this is really the field (MFI) which I want to enter later on in life. The competencies will have limitations and I myself have strengths and weaknesses which are constantly changing. In order to learn from these changes it is therefore vital to take time for personal reflection. | |||||
