英国个人陈述写作原则与范文

英国个人陈述写作原则
1、突出专业原则
同学们要对自己申请的专业领域有一定的认识和了解。在你的个人陈述和RL里首先要写大量的专业性的东西，如写RL的时候尤其要以指导老师的口吻写很多你做实验的细节性的东西，并且说明你如何解决过程中的问题。因为谁都可以说自己做了什么很难的东西，可是如何让对方信服，就看这些细节性的东西了。
2、个性原则
突出自己的优势，展示自己的个性。当你坐在计算机前开始写作的时候，你一定要想清楚自己是什么样的人，自己有什么优点。如果你不能让对方相信你的聪明和爱因斯坦是同数量级的(这种人指的是毕业于名校，GPA在3.8以上)，那么你就应该让他相信你的勤奋或是坚韧的毅力与阿甘相比有过之而无不及，当然你也可以想出你的其他优点。不过，你也不要把我的意思弄拧了，我并不是说，你不能说自己是聪明的，而是说，你或许可以着更多的笔墨在你的勤奋上。毕竟，聪明仅仅是成功的一个因素，而你的毅力，合作力等等可能是成功更重要的因素。
3、优势突出原则和实话原则
如你曾经获得过什么奖励，获得过什么特殊的机会是一定要写明白的。还有你的最有说服力的优势，就是你发表的dissertation。你的文章是在什么杂志上发表的，这个杂志有没有被SCI收录，SCI影响因子是多少，也一定要写清楚。这可是重头戏，对你的录取有极大帮助。所以大家千万不要小看你的文章，而且如果有可能的话，尽量往国外杂志上发。
4、自信原则
西方人喜欢自我表现，他们喜欢自信的人。不管你是写个人陈述，还是去见签证官，或是以后在课堂上做presentation，你都要牢记这个原则。所以自信原则是贯穿于你的PS始终的。你要象展示你的传家宝一样自信的向他们展示你闪光点，也要以expert的语气大谈你做过的课题。所有你的这些语气，都会为你赢得不少分数的。
5、清楚原则
所谓的清楚原则，就是你的个人陈述中没有任何有疑问的地方。就象写专业dissertation一样，如果有缩写，在出现的第一次，你一定要写出它的全称，打个括号写上缩写(当然是除了众所周知的，譬如GRE，TOEFL之类的)。如果你拿过奖学金，一定要像在优势突出原则中写的那样，要注明是在多少人的竞争中拿到的。并且，你上的大学排名多少也一定要注明。因为外国人是不可能非常清楚地了解中国大学的情况的，所以你一定要给别人留下清楚的感觉。这样，你的才华才不会被埋没。#p#分页标题#e#

As a child I often accompanied my father to his small coin shop and spent hours watching him work. When I was older, I sometimes set up displays, waited on customers, and even balanced the books. This experience instilled in me the desire to own and manage my own business someday, yet I understand that the business world today is more complex. This complexity requires more education, and with that in mind, I am applying to the Master’s of Business Administration program at Indiana University Bloomington (IUB).
