我得这篇文章是为了申请时装设计学士学位：I am writing to apply for bachelor degree of Fashion Design:

我想从我的家开始介绍让大家知道我的兴趣。我的父亲是一个受人尊敬的艺术家，当我年轻的时候他曾经画过油画。作为一个小女孩，我还记得我始终站在他的视线中，看着他，望着在移动的笔在油纸上面不断跳舞，从白空到绽放的红红火火的花纸。当他画的，他从来不说一句话，只是集中一切地投入到绘画，保持沉默，但他排除闪亮的眼睛和双手摇曳。从那个时候起，我逐渐认识到眼睛真正发挥作为一个画家，以他的灵魂转化为例证来引导我。在我的童年，我深受我父亲的那个金属态的启发，而不是文字。同样的情况下是设计，另一种艺术，是让你的惊艳闪耀的工作，因为你的设计触摸你的心灵，拥抱生活。与其他学科相比，我付出了很多的关注视觉艺术，尤其是设计和照片。I would like to start with my family before let you know my interests. My father is an respectable artist, he used to do oil painting when I was young. As a little girl, I can remember I always stood out of his sight, staring at him, at the moving pen constantly dancing above the oil paper，at a paper from white and empty to prosperously blooming of  flowers. When he was painting, he never say a word,  just concentrated all himself into the painting, kept silence, exclude his shining eyes and swaying hands. From that time onwards, I gradually realize eyes genuinely  play as a painter, guide a person to translate his soul into a illustration. In my childhood, I was deeply inspired by that metal state of my father, not by word. What the same case is design, as another kind of art, your stunning work shines because of your design touching your soul, and embracing life. 

Compared with other subjects, I pay a lot of attention to visual arts, especially design and photograph. Due to massive practice I’ve done, my work began to be admired by lots of people, I even hold a exhibition in my school, which name is ‘unspeakable’.  this part of work I’ve done describes object of beauty as a phenomena exits commonly in our daily life. Additionally, this kind of phenomena is always derived from kindly behavior, however it cannot open in public, so I want to capture this sort of moment, stay it in wind, extend the final effect, encourage all the people notice potential problems behind it. By doing that, I began to realize that design as well as art is an ongoing progress, not a state, and continuously striving for self improvement.

However, by designing, I can achieve something new, I can own the freedom and do what I want to do without disturbing and controlling. People all say beautiful things hold in perfection but a short moment. But for me, designing can turns you to be a magician which can differential you among people by your unique and amazing work. Extraordinary work can never fadeaway as time goes by, With that, you do not need to afraid of being like an inexperience actor on the stage, who with his fear is put besides his part.#p#分页标题#e#

What’s more, I have to let you know that I have attended the BTEC art course in my senior high school, which provides me a good opportunity to discover unknown fields. In the process of becoming a more intelligent and creative girl, I challenged myself by trying different kinds of projects and doing lots of experience about fashion design,  such as practice my drawing skills and do part-time job in a luxury wedding store this summer. People around me may feel everything I did just small cases, not worth being mentioned, however, for me, it means a lot. I cherish and appreciate those tough moments, to some extent, those really established some new approaches for me to touch what fashion design is and opened a new door for me towards fashion.

I am Amanda, I am eager to enter into this field and embrace new world, the best way for me to chase my dream is to seize every opportunity to learn fashion design or fashion management in your esteem University, sincerely wish I could achieve this wonderful chance.
