AIMS & OBJECTIVES
A key purpose of this workshop is to encourage learners to develop their sense of self-awareness and their own strengths and weaknesses as managers and colleagues. The workshop is designed to offer the opportunity to reflect on, and develop, a range of definable skills that are pivotal to successful management practice and to effective leadership. The Objectives of this Workshop are to:
Teaching and Learning Methods
Working in small groups, students will be given the opportunity to experience, explore and reflect upon their own behaviours and the behaviour of others. This active involvement of the learner is essential to the development of self directed and questioning approach that is the key to continuing professional development. Each small group will be supported by a tutor whose role will be to assist the members of the group to explore their experiences and find ways towards understanding. The essence of the tutor role will be enabling the self-development of learners.
