Research Background
 
Bank of Communications Jiujiang Branch, founded in 1994, has 11 outlets and more  than 200  employees  now. Recently,  since  the  head  office  encourages small loan business for individuals, Jiujiang Branch enlarges relative business, especially in the field of private housing mortgage loans; the bank has made a great  progress.  However,  though  the  non:performing  loans  take  a  small possession in asset, potential risks become more and more obvious. The major sources of these risks are borrowers, mortgages, interest rate, liquidity and so forth. For Jiujiang Branch, a newly founded bank, it has little experience in risk management in private housing loans. 
 
Accordingly,  the  investigation  on  risk  management  of  private  housing  loan becomes more important and urgent. In specific, this paper talks about the risk for Bank of Communications Jiujiang Branch.
