ASSESSMENT TASKS

Assessment 2 – Assignment 2 (15%) - Learning outcomes: identify and use appropriate statistical estimation methods and tests; use the SPSS/Excel programs in the analysis of data; utilise statistical findings in constructing statistical models; & use statistical findings in writing reports to evaluate alternative policy options and recommendations in decision making.
Students are required to analyse a given data file using relevant statistical techniques taught during the lecture. To this end, they will be supported by their tutors to generate SPSS outputs during computer lab sessions.  Please see Assignment 2_Sem2_2010.Doc for more details.
